Nine colour-coded discs sit on the counter next to it. Drop one onto the pad and that record starts playing — the disc spins, the frame glows, and the album art is right there behind the acrylic. No phone. No app. No Bluetooth pairing, no WiFi, no account to make.
You choose what's on it. Nothing comes pre-loaded — you copy your own files onto the built-in memory, so the nine discs hold exactly the records you want, in the order you want them. Dookie on the green one. American Idiot on the red one. Your call, not ours.
It's a 4.4-inch acrylic frame with a magnet on the back, so it goes on the fridge, the toolbox, the side of a locker — anywhere metal. Or stand it on a desk and let it run as a soft night light. A sheet of blank NFC labels is in the box too, so you can mark them however you like.
